 Day #8

We have been on the road for seven nights. Another cool and clear morning with the birds singing and sun warming the camper. This is a slow morning, hopefully followed by a slow day. The past two days were 6-8 hours days of touring, now for the slow day before pulling up stakes and hitting the road. Doug has plans of playing golf, maybe I'll shop a little and hopefully get these blogs up to date and posted.

The next two nights of camping will be an unknown adventure as we do not have reserved camping sites. Our plan is to drive until we are ready to get off the road.

Our next reserved camping site is in New Era, Michigan which is about 9-10 hour drive from where we are in Prattsburgh, NY. Five to six hours days for the next two days will get us there to start our state of Michigan tour.

He heard the intimate call of the white ball floating over the luscious verde fairway. Doug found a golf course about 20 minutes away took off. Well I rode with him to the golf course, then took the truck to Walmart for the weekly shopping.

After a supper  of shrimp broccoli alfredo over noodles. I successfully baked crescent rolls in the camper oven for the first time. I have gingerbread baking now, it will be interesting how it will turn out.

We are now tidying up and getting packed for the road tomorrow and looking forward to where the next leg of our adventure will take us.
