Day #10 finds us still on the road, transitioning from one campground to another. About noon today, Doug called the campground in New Era, Michigan to determine if our campsite was open - it was! We decided to put in the hours on the road today and relax until our next transition day.
That decision put us driving for six hours with stops, a total of eight hours on the road pulling the camper.
Our campsite in Holiday Camping Resort. The campground has 80-100 sites. As the pictures show the tall pine trees shaded the sites which were on an incline. The individual sites were pretty much flat. We were happy with the site - no campers below us, above us or across from us!The campground also has seasonal campers with permanent sites.
Doug and I were talking about how friendly everyone has been, this site being no exception. I guess we had expected the "snooty-don't-give-time-of-day" attitudes. We have been pleasantly surprised as to how friendly everyone has been.
The temperatures have been highs in the 70s with a low humidity and breeze.
